A new Left 4 Dead 2 Release Update
Updates to Left 4 Dead 2 have been released on PC, and they could very well be on their way to Xbox 360 soon. Below is a list of the updates provided to Steam players. It hasn’t been confirmed yet if Xbox 360 is getting all of these or some of them.

Tournament Brackets and Play Times
The tournament is ready to go! The grand prize is $40.00 and you can start playing your first match this week. It will consist of 8 teams and four rounds. The brackets are below:
Maps and plays times are the following:
Round 1: Play on Dark Carnival – Must be played between January 11th-17th
Round 2: Play on Hard Rain – Must be played between January 18th-24th
Round 3: Play on The Parish – Must be played between January 25th-31th
Finales: Play on Swamp Fever – Must be played between February 1st-7th

Reporting: Post your match results in the thread.
Match Rules:
- In general, we will follow the same rules as Gamebattles.com. Please refer to the section with the heading “matches”. View Them Here.
- If there is a no show in the first Round Left4Blogger team will take there place in the first round. Contact us here if you can not get in touch with your opponent.
- If both teams want to play but can not find a time to do so both teams will forfeit from the tournament.
Cheating:
This tournament is for FUN. Please do not cheat.

New Left 4 Dead 2 Versus Scoring System Proposal
Players from Left 4 Dead are torn. They love the variance Left 4 Dead 2 provides, but when it comes to the scoring it’s just simply dreadful. The incapacitation bonuses seemed to appease most because at least there was a chance to increase your score and lead by dominating another team. Now it’s 25 points IF both teams survive, but if you down a team all you get is the score lost by them not finishing.
Some games are too close when they absolutely should not be close. Let’s face it.
