I bought Left4Dead at the end of January 2009 and didn’t find out about Gamebattles until a few months later. I joined the ladder during the second season where I played with the Turkish Snowcones. Soon after the alliance disbanded and I was on the look for a new team. I ended up on Fanny Pack Rockers and then Bloody Lemon both of which also disbanded soon after I joined. It was at that point when I asked Don P if I could join DGI. He sent me an invite, I joined the team, and I have been playing with them ever since.

I got l4d on Nov 17th (realease day) and I have never dropped it for a second. I have been on the gamebattles l4d ladder since the day it was opened and I also was able to play and win the first ever l4d GB match which was a great experience. I love to see new things pop up about l4d and l4d2 and I cannot wait to see how the community will expand upon the realease of l4d2. Much like Insane I bought L4D back in November (two or three days after release day), and I have never been able to bring myself to take a long break from the game. This was the first true team-oriented FPS I have ever had the pleasure of playing. I joined the Gamebattles community in late January because I was tired of playing against uncoordinated teams with my group of friends. I cannot wait for the release of the next game, and the demo has only fueled the fire. I hope to see you out there! Fight zombies and please…bring friends.
